Joy Macko’s hypnotherapy journey began after experiencing her own life-altering transformation with hypnosis for her low-level confidence caused by severe depression due to trauma, a mental breakdown, and a diagnosis of mental illness that nearly cost her life. 

She’d undergone various therapies over the years to aid in her healing process from childhood abuse and domestic violence, but nothing made such a profound change in her day-to-day life like hypnotherapy. Within just nine months, Joy went from rock bottom to then regain her inner confidence, re-establish her media business, continue her world travels to paradise destinations, and settle into a place to call her own in a lush city suburb.

Joy’s astonishing “from the bottom up” experience led her to become a hypnotherapist, so that she can help others who are suffering from trauma, abuse, and mental health challenges.

Joy is a Native American of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma and an ambassador for the Murdered, Missing Indigenous Woman and Girls (MMIWG) movement.

How does it work?

Hypnotherapy works by guiding you into the Theta brainwave state, where the critical part of your mind relaxes. This is where your beliefs, emotions, habits, and memories are stored. In Theta, you can more easily release old patterns and create new, lasting habits and beliefs.

What does being in hypnosis feel like?

During hypnosis, your mind remains active, yet you experience deeper relaxation. You may feel lighter, heavier, a gentle tingling—or nothing at all—and all are perfectly normal.



Will I lose control during hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a natural state where you stay aware, in control, and fully able to make your own choices. You’ll remember your session clearly, and you cannot be forced to say or do anything against your will. It’s not sleep, mind control, or a truth serum—and you can easily come out of hypnosis anytime you choose.


How many sessions are needed?

The number of sessions depends on your goals and needs. Many people notice changes after the first session, though our programs start with minimum 3 sessions to create lasting results.
